Summary:

Melting point (cooling curve) is especially suitable for petroleum waxes with relatively high paraffin content or crystallization type, which contain large amounts of crystallized hydrocarbon at the same temperature. During the cooling process, the melting heat is released, and the cooling rate is temporarily delayed to form stagnation zone on the cooling curve.

The device automatically collects the temperature curve, automatically calculates and identifies the temperature stagnation zone, and calculates the melting point of the sample.
